Combination

Dry skin tend to form wrinkles and fine line, whereas oily skin tend to get acne. People with combination of skin type usually have oily skin on T zone (forehead and nose) but normal or dry skin on the side of the face.

Treatments of Acne

Early treatment of acne can prevent scarring and overcome the undesirable emotional and psychological effects.

Good Hygiene

Keep face and hands clean, avoid touching face.

Acne Range Skin Care

Specially designed to effectively ‘dissolve’ and remove oil. Concurrently, these products rehydrate the skin (dryness will cause reactive oil secretion).

Regular Facial

Deep cleansing of face with microdermabrasion facial such as Aqua Pulse.

Avoid Extraction

Squeezing of acne is painful and causes the bacteria to seep deeper into the skin and worsen the inflammation. It encourages the formation of acne scar.

IPL & Pico Laser

IPL or Pico Laser are effective ways of clearing the acne mark and reduce facial redness.

Chemical Peel

Enerpeel is a superficial peel for gentle exfoliation and prevent clogged pores.

Aknicare Oral Supplement

Oral supplement made from green tea extract and zinc, potent antioxidant to control oil production and reduce inflammation.

Prescription Medicines

Isotretinoin or oral contraceptive may be required for people with moderate to severe acne. Isotretinoin (Nimegen/Oratane) is highly effective in drying up the oily skin and prevent acne. With prolonged use of 4-12 months, the accumulative dose of isotretinoin may modify the oil glands which in turn reduces acne recurrence rate.
